This is ready for the cover of a travel magazine aimed at us Chicagoans straining for the END of winter. Magical.
I like the rule of thirds with the water line. Only minor critique is to give the angler more breathing room along the right edge.

Thank you for all the praise! Incidently, this photograph was taken during my first fish following a motorcycle accident which left me with substantial metal work in my right leg and unable to walk for 10 months (Still hobbling about with a cane nearly 3 years on). As for the tight cropping to the right... I purposely placed James to the very right of the frame as my focus was the refraction of sunlight, so short of a little image manipulation, he has to stay put *chuckle* My biggest concern with this shot was keeping the camera dry, the day was a bit choppy and I was hovering the camera about 5 cm above the water!!! I knew it was a great shot but hadn't considered posting it here... Kudos to Maridol for reminding me of this shot and suggesting I offer it up for everyones viewing pleasure!

The reflections are really great. Together with the person's silhouette this gives a great image!

Brilliant photo! I love it!
I really like how the guy stands in the water like a rock, he seams to imponent!
I also love the water reflections but it seams odd to my eyes the guy soo dark. Maybe because the photo is a bit too overexposed. Anyway I think it's afantastic photo 8/8 Well done!

I like this one, along with the shilouette and the sparkling of pearl on the water just too nice :) well I'd like to make more on the depth of field on this pics, it would be better... but overall I like it much, just a really special momment.
